Haruto Hino
Description
Haruto Hino is a Japanese manga artist best known as the creator of the series Takunomi. Hino wrote and illustrated Takunomi, a four-panel comedy manga that follows the daily lives of several young women who share an apartment in Tokyo and their ritual of drinking various alcoholic beverages together at home. The series was serialized on Shogakukan’s online platforms, specifically the Ura Sunday website and the MangaONE app, running from August 2015 to May 2018. The individual chapters were later compiled into seven tankōbon volumes, released between December 2015 and July 2018. The series gained enough popularity to be adapted into an anime television series, which aired from January to March 2018. The anime was produced by the studio Production IMS and notably became the final production completed by that studio before its bankruptcy. Beyond Takunomi, Hino’s body of work as a writer and artist includes several other manga titles. In 2021, Hino created Otaku ni Otoku na Gal Gurashi. Hino has also contributed to various anthology series, including Isekai demo Oppai kara Me ga Hanasenai!! Anthology Comic in 2021 and Fate/Grand Order Anthology Comic: The Next in 2018. Additionally, Hino is credited as the artist for Samayoeru Tensei-sha-tachi no Revival Game. These works indicate a career focused on manga creation, primarily for digital platforms and anthology publications.
