Yuya Aoki is a Japanese manga writer, novelist, and screenwriter, best known as the original creator of the manga series GetBackers. He is a professional pseudonym used by the prolific author Shin Kibayashi, who has created numerous popular works under a variety of pen names. Born in Tokyo in 1962, Kibayashi is a graduate of the prestigious Waseda University School of Economics and Political Science.
As Yuya Aoki, his most famous contribution is the creation of GetBackers, a supernatural action manga illustrated by Rando Ayamine.
