Kenya Suzuki

Description
Kenya Suzuki is a Japanese manga artist known for creating the series Please Tell Me! Galko-chan. Born in 1981, Suzuki began his professional career in 2005 with the publication of a short story in the magazine Comic Beam. His first serialized work, Rōsoku Hime (Candle Princess), ran in the magazine Fellows! starting in 2008 and was collected into two volumes.

Suzuki is best known as the original creator of the manga Oshiete! Galko-chan (Please Tell Me! Galko-chan). The series, a comedy focused on the everyday school lives of three distinct high school girls, began serialization on Kadokawa's ComicWalker website in June 2014. Its popularity led to a twelve-episode anime television adaptation produced by the studio Feel, which aired from January to March 2016. In this adaptation, Suzuki is officially credited as the original creator. The manga was also licensed for English release in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment.

In December 2021, Suzuki was arrested on suspicion of importing child pornography, leading to the suspension of the Galko-chan manga serialization. The following March, he received a suspended prison sentence. After this hiatus, reports in October 2025 indicated that the Oshiete! Galko-chan manga would be returning to publication. Prior to this incident, Suzuki had also published a short story collection titled Samuku Naruto Kata o Yosete.
