Miyagi began his professional career in 2018 after winning both a Special Prize and the JOYSOUND Prize at the 9th 81 Audition, a notable achievement for a newcomer in the industry.

In his early years, Miyagi built his career by taking on a wide variety of supporting and minor roles across numerous anime television series. His filmography from this period includes appearances in Zombie Land Saga, Ace Attorney, Given, and Carole & Tuesday. He quickly became a frequent presence in anime, lending his voice to a range of characters, from background students to more defined supporting parts.
