Mathias Förster is a German voice actor and stage performer born on March 24, 1971, in Bochum. He pursued a formal education in acting and singing, training at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York and studying under Stephen Sweetland from 1992 to 1997. This foundation in method acting was complemented by subsequent workshops and seminars, including intensive courses in dubbing and voice work in the 2010s.

Before his extensive work in voice acting, Förster built a substantial career in theatre.
