James Simenc is an American actor and voice actor known for his work in both live-action and animated productions. He began his higher education in 2008, studying Applied Mathematics, English, and Literature at the University of California, Los Angeles, and completed his Bachelor of Arts and Science in 2012. His entry into screen acting came in 2011 with a role in the television film Extremely Decent, followed by appearances in projects such as The Bell Witch Haunting and the television series The Vault.

From 2014 onwards, Simenc expanded his career to focus more heavily on voice acting. A significant early credit in this field was his work as a sketch actor and voice performer on the television series Conan, a role he held from 2015 to 2019 across twelve episodes. He also provided English voice-over work for numerous international productions, including the Spanish-language series Mis Tres Marías, Por amarte así, Solo una madre, and Para verte mejor, as well as the Russian film The Bride. His voice work extends to video games, with a credit in the 2018 title Dynasty Warriors 9.

In the realm of anime, Simenc has secured roles in English-language adaptations of major series. He is credited with voice roles in the 2021-2022 adaptation of Shaman King, appearing in seven episodes across various characters. He also voiced the role of Madenokōji Arikoto in the 2023 anime series Ōoku: The Inner Chambers, for which he appeared in nine episodes. His filmography also includes episodic roles in live-action television series such as Chicago P.D., General Hospital, Days of Time, and The Lincoln Lawyer.
