Aoi Inase is a Japanese voice actress born on January 30, 1994, in Hiroshima Prefecture. She began her career in 2013 while still a student at Amusement Media General Institute, making her debut in the video game Fairy Fencer F. She was initially affiliated with Ogi Pro THE NEXT and used the stage name Aoi Inase written with the kanji characters 稲瀬 葵. In 2016, she changed her name from a previous stage name, Aoi Inoue. On October 1, 2019, she left her agency to become a freelancer and changed her stage name to the hiragana rendering いなせ あおい. She joined her current agency, BLACK SHIP, on September 1, 2021. One of her most frequently cited representative roles is Aoi Natsuka in the Beyblade Burst series. She has also had a long-running association with the Naruto franchise, voicing characters in both Naruto Shippuden and its sequel, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. In Naruto Shippuden, her roles included Asitaba, Gaska, and Tamaki. In Boruto, she voiced several characters over many years, such as Ikegawa Kamo, Kokonotsu, Yodo, and a continued role as Tamaki. Her other notable anime credits include East Iron Jun in A Centaur's Life, the young Hajime Ozawa in Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS, and roles in series like The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today and Wistoria: Wand and Sword. Inase has also worked in video games, foreign language dubbing, and web anime. Her video game roles include Vint in Fairy Fencer F and Aoi Natsuka in the Beyblade Burst game adaptations. Her dubbing work includes providing the Japanese voice for Elizabeth of York in the television series The White Princess. She is known to have friendships with fellow voice actresses Tachibana Hinata, Fujiwara Natsumi, and Kito Akari. Her personal interests include solo karaoke, watching science fiction films, and video editing, and her skills include singing and using nunchaku.
