Rika Momokawa

Description
Rika Momokawa is a Japanese female voice actor born on October 1st in Tsuyama City, Okayama Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent agency EARLY WING and has a blood type of B. Before pursuing voice acting, Momokawa was involved in stage performance, which led her to move to Tokyo. She enrolled in the Tokyo Voice Actor Academy to build a foundation in vocal technique, and it was during this time, encouraged by a friend, that she decided to focus on a career in voice acting.

Her professional debut came in 2015 with a leading role as Shizuku Tendo in the television anime series Fushigi na Somera-chan, also known as Magical Somera-chan. The following year, she landed another significant role as Shino Sonobe in the anime adaptation of the manga Three Leaves, Three Colors. These early roles helped establish her in the industry.

Momokawa has built a diverse portfolio of work across both anime and video games. In recent years, she has taken on roles in high-profile adaptations, including Kaimaru in the 2024 anime series Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin and Neko Tsukahara in the 2025 anime Tasokare Hotel. Her connection to the Tasokare Hotel franchise is longstanding; she originally voiced the same character, Tsukahara Neko, in the original 2017 smartphone game upon which the anime is based, as well as in its 2022 renewal version. This demonstrates a recurring role across different media adaptations of the same property. Her game work is extensive and includes roles such as Kaimaru in the original Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin game, Pio in Dragon Star Varnir, Krilalaris in 100% Orange Juice, and characters in major mobile titles like Azur Lane and Kemono Friends 3.

Professionally, Momokawa is known for having a voice similar to that of her inspiration, veteran voice actor Rie Ai. She holds a certification in the Okayama dialect and lists quilting and sewing as a hobby and special skill. She is also associated with the television program Ateko Segomon, which featured new voice talent. Her career has continued steadily since her debut, with new roles announced for 2025, including the aforementioned Tasokare Hotel anime.
