Ayumi Hinohara is a Japanese voice actress and singer from Chiba Prefecture, born on June 30, 2000. She is affiliated with the agency Sony Music Artists. Her path to voice acting began with a different aspiration; she originally aimed to become a singer. During her third year of high school, she was involved in theater activities and found the experience enjoyable. This led her to consider a career utilizing her voice, and she applied for the Anistoteles voice acting audition run by Sony Music Artists. In 2018, she was selected as the Grand Prix winner of the seventh Anistoteles audition, which launched her professional career.
Hinohara's career started in 2019, and her early work included voicing the character Moe Murayama in the game BATON=RELAY in 2020. She gained wider recognition in 2021 for her role as Yaeno Muteki in the popular multimedia franchise Uma Musume Pretty Derby, a role she has continued in both the game and its upcoming 2025 anime adaptation, Uma Musume Cinderella Gray. In 2023, she landed her first leading role in a television anime as Miracle in the series Kizuna no Allele, a role she performed across both of its seasons. A notable aspect of Hinohara's career is her strong involvement in music, which connects to her initial aspiration to be a singer. Her skills include singing and playing the guitar. She has performed numerous character songs for the franchises she is part of. For Uma Musume Pretty Derby, she has sung songs like "Bumei Shisso!" and participated in group performances such as "We are DREAMERS!!" and "Umapyoi Legend". Her role as Miracle in Kizuna no Allele also involved extensive musical performance, contributing to several group albums and a solo character song titled "Link to heart".
