Kakeru Hatano is a Japanese voice actor and actor born on May 6, 2000, in Niigata Prefecture. He is affiliated with the talent agency Amuse, which he joined in July 2022 after previously being with other agencies like K-Factory and Object. Hatano began his career in the entertainment industry during the 2010s, initially gaining experience in stage productions and live-action television dramas before transitioning into voice acting.

His official voice acting debut came in 2022 when he was cast as Seiji Kawawa in the music-themed project Arcanamusica. Since then, he has built a diverse portfolio of roles in anime, video games, and dubbing. In anime, he has been heard in a wide range of series, often in supporting or guest roles. Notable credits include Nijiro Nanase in Blue Lock VS. U-20 JAPAN, Akihito Miyoshi in Wind Breaker, Jo Kyu-Hwan in Solo Leveling, and roles in Shangri-La Frontier, I Shall Survive Using Potions!, and Blue Archive the Animation. He has also lent his voice to video games such as Monster Strike and Card en Ciel.

A significant and high-profile role for Hatano is as the titular character Tamon Fukuhara in the 2026 anime adaptation of the romantic comedy manga Tamon's B-Side. In this series, he is also a member of the in-story boy band F/Ace, alongside fellow voice actors Shoya Chiba, Tasuku Hatanaka, Kohei Amasaki, and Ryuho Nagaoka, and the group performs the anime's opening and ending theme songs. His first starring role in a television anime is as Akihito Abikura in Yowayowa Sensei (Ms. Feeble), which is set to debut in April 2026.

Beyond animation, Hatano has remained active as a stage actor, appearing in musicals such as OZ. He has also taken on live-action acting roles in television dramas including Shiro demo Kuro demo nai Sekai de, Panda wa Warau and Meteor Family, and has done dubbing work for foreign films like Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. He stands 173 cm tall and has listed baseball and singing as his special skills, with hobbies that include exploring history, playing video games, and watching movies and musicals. His older brother, Wataru Hatano, is also an actor.
