Cedric Eich

Description
Cedric Eich is a German actor and voice artist known for his work in dubbing anime series for a German-speaking audience. Born on August 10, 2000, he began his acting career as a child in Berlin, appearing on screen from the age of five. His early live-action roles included the Oscar-winning short film Spielzeugland in 2009 and the feature film Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters. Alongside his on-screen work, he has built a substantial career in voice acting, lending his voice to characters in various international productions, including the main role in the Canadian animated series Der Phantastische Paul since 2011.

In the realm of anime, Eich has provided the German voice for several prominent characters. He voices the protagonist Appare Sorano, an eccentric and brilliant engineer, in the series Appare-Ranman!. He is also the German voice of Julian Mintz in The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These. In the cyberpunk series No Guns Life, he takes on the role of Seven, a unique extended child character. His other anime credits include the character Kouji Harada in the film Welcome to THE SPACE SHOW and Rommel in the series The Slime Diaries.

Eich's work is consistently based in Berlin, where the German dubbing for these productions is typically recorded. While not recurring in the sense of a specific directorial partnership, his voice roles in anime often place him within a stable of German dubbing talent, with actors such as Samina König, Manuel Straube, and Lin Gothoni frequently appearing alongside him in these casts. Beyond anime, his broader voice acting portfolio includes characters in major live-action films and series, such as Shazam! and The Walking Dead: World Beyond. As of 2021, Eich has been pursuing formal training in acting at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg.
