Shunichi Maki is a Japanese voice actor born on June 25, 1990, in Saitama Prefecture. He began his career in the mid-2010s, with some of his earliest roles in 2015 including minor parts in series such as Overlord, The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan, and Noragami Aragoto. In April 2015, he joined the talent agency AXL-ONE, where he remained for nine years before announcing his departure on March 31, 2024, to become a freelance voice actor effective April 1, 2024.
Maki is known for his versatility and has voiced a wide array of characters across anime, video games, and dubbed foreign films. His filmography is extensive, featuring numerous supporting and guest roles. In anime, he has appeared in major titles such as Assassination Classroom, Fruits Basket, Fire Force, The Rising of the Shield Hero, Jujutsu Kaisen, and the Overlord franchise across multiple seasons.
