Shunichi Maki is a Japanese voice actor born on June 25, 1990, in Saitama Prefecture. He began his career in the mid-2010s, with some of his earliest roles in 2015 including minor parts in series such as Overlord, The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan, and Noragami Aragoto. In April 2015, he joined the talent agency AXL-ONE, where he remained for nine years before announcing his departure on March 31, 2024, to become a freelance voice actor effective April 1, 2024.

Maki is known for his versatility and has voiced a wide array of characters across anime, video games, and dubbed foreign films. His filmography is extensive, featuring numerous supporting and guest roles. In anime, he has appeared in major titles such as Assassination Classroom, Fruits Basket, Fire Force, The Rising of the Shield Hero, Jujutsu Kaisen, and the Overlord franchise across multiple seasons. He also played Eiichi Hirota in the rugby anime All Out!! and provided voices for several characters in the long-running Duel Masters franchise. A notable recent role was providing the voice for Goro Domoto in the 2022 animated film The First Slam Dunk.

Beyond anime, Maki has a significant presence in tokusatsu, particularly within the Ultraman franchise. He voiced Darrgon, one of the Three Dark Giants, in the 2021 series Ultraman Trigger. In 2025, he returned to the franchise as a regular cast member in Ultraman Omega, voicing the radio personality Masaru Tange, also known as Masa-san. He has also lent his voice to other tokusatsu projects like Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger and provided voices for foreign film dubs, including Japanese-language roles in How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, The Angry Birds Movie 2, and Trolls World Tour.

His musical contributions include performing the character song "The End of LIGHT" for the Ultraman Trigger soundtrack.
