Nana Ōtori

Nana Ōtori is a Japanese author recognized as the original creator of the light novel, manga, and anime series May I Ask for One Final Thing? The series began as a web novel published online starting in April 2018, and the author subsequently wrote the light novel version, which has been published by AlphaPolis under their Regina Books imprint since August 2018, with illustrations by Satsuki. A manga adaptation of the story, illustrated by Sora Hōnoki, began serialization in June 2019 on AlphaPolis’ Regina manga website. An anime television series adaptation produced by Liden Films Kyoto Studio aired from October to December 2025. Nana Ōtori is credited as the original author of the series across all its formats. In a self-introduction on a novel publishing platform, the author has expressed a particular fondness for stories involving broken engagements and villainesses, while also noting a broad interest in various genres.
