Rena Motomura is a Japanese voice actress from Osaka Prefecture, born on October 10. She is affiliated with the talent agency Across Entertainment. Her hobbies include drawing, scriptwriting, and listening to music, and she has listed classical ballet, which she practiced for five years, and Kyokushin karate, practiced for three years, as special skills.

Motomura's path to becoming a voice actor began in her school years. While a member of her high school's drama club, she won the Atereko Koshien, a national voice acting contest for high school students. Her performance caught the attention of voice actor Natsuki Hanae, one of the event's judges, which became a pivotal moment in launching her career. Following this success, she attended Kyoto University of the Arts, where she studied at the Faculty of Arts, majoring in Performing Arts.

A significant turning point in her career came in 2025 when she was cast as Kyōka Kitahara, one of the main characters, in the original television anime series Maebashi Witches. That same year, she also voiced the lead role of Marie in the anime adaptation of The Ruined Daughter Is Doted on by My Sister's Ex-Fiancé. Her other anime credits from this period include roles in the theatrical film Cocoon: Aru Natsu no Shoujo-tachi yori and a supporting part in Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World 3rd season. In a major career development, it was announced that Motomura will star as the protagonist Coco in the 2026 television anime adaptation of the popular manga Witch Hat Atelier.
