Norito Asazuki
Description
Norito Asazuki is a Japanese manga creator known for writing and illustrating several series, primarily within the romance and adult-oriented genres. Asazuki first gained attention with the serialization of Zenbu Kimi no Sei, also known as All Because of You, which began publication in November 2019 in the seinen magazine Dengeki Maoh. This series blends comedy and romance and remains ongoing.
Asazuki is the original creator of the manga Ren Arisugawa Is Actually a Girl, with the Japanese title Arisugawa Ren tte Honto wa Onna Nanda yo ne. The story follows a popular male celebrity who is secretly a girl, a secret discovered by her cousin. This manga was published digitally by WWWave Corporation on its ComicFesta platform, consisting of 57 chapters. The work is classified as adult or risqué in nature, aligning with much of the content on the ComicFesta service. An anime adaptation of Ren Arisugawa Is Actually a Girl was announced in March 2025, approximately five years after the manga had concluded. The anime is produced by Studio Leo and directed by Sumito Sasaki, with Iruka Taichō handling series scripts. The series premiered on the AnimeFesta streaming service on December 12, 2025, followed by a television broadcast on Tokyo MX and BS11 on January 4, 2026. The adaptation includes both a censored broadcast version and an uncensored premium version, a standard practice for AnimeFesta productions. The English release of the manga is handled by Coolmic.
Beyond this title, Asazuki is also the author and illustrator of Demihuman Share House, which was serialized in Dra-Dra Sharp magazine. The manga ran from September 2023 to July 2024 and was collected into two volumes. The story centers on a man who moves into a share house only to discover his new roommates are supernatural or monstrous girls. An English-language edition of Demihuman Share House is scheduled for release by Yen Press in February 2026.
Asazuki’s body of work frequently features comedic situations arising from hidden identities and unconventional living arrangements, often with a romantic or risqué undercurrent. The adaptation of Ren Arisugawa Is Actually a Girl places Asazuki among the creators whose work has been selected for AnimeFesta, a programming block known for producing short-form, adult-oriented anime adaptations from digital manga.
