Yuki Monji is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator known for work on series that blend fantasy and action, often in adaptations of popular light novel properties. Monji’s professional career began with contributions to established media mix franchises, including serving as both writer and artist for a manga adaptation of The Idolm@ster - Million Live! in 2014. Later work includes Chandrahas, La Légende de l’Immortel in 2019, for which Monji was also credited as both writer and artist.

Monji is the artist for the manga adaptation of The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest, a fantasy series originally written by Alto. The manga began serialization on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket digital platform in July 2021, and Kodansha compiles the chapters into tankōbon volumes under its Shōnen Magazine Comics imprint. The series remained in serialization for several years, with the 19th compiled volume released in March 2026. The light novel series, illustrated by Yuunagi, inspired both Monji’s manga and a subsequent anime television adaptation that aired from October to December 2025. The manga is published digitally in English through Kodansha’s K Manga service. To celebrate the anime’s announcement, Monji contributed a special illustration alongside the original light novel illustrator.
