Midori Matsuo is a Japanese freelance announcer and voice actress born on August 11, 1983, in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Her primary career has been in broadcasting, and she is affiliated with the talent agency Horipro.

Matsuo began her career as an announcer for Fuji Television, a position she held until September 2013. Following her departure from the network, she transitioned to freelance work and joined Horipro in November of the same year. While her main professional focus is on announcing and hosting television programs, she has also taken on roles in anime and television dramas.

In the realm of anime, Matsuo is recognized for voicing the character Yuria in the 2007 original video animation Fist of the North Star: The Legend of Yuria, which is also referred to as Fist of the North Star: Legend of Heroes. Her other voice acting credits include the role of an operator in the 2009 anime film Jungle Emperor and the character Washirashi in the 2007 anime film Miyori no Forest.
