Tenma Asahi

Description
Tenma Asahi is the original creator of the Japanese light novel series Saioshi no Gikei o Mederu Tame, Nagaikishimasu!, which has been adapted into both a manga and an anime television series. Asahi is credited as the sole writer of the original story, which began as a web novel serialized online in September 2021 on the AlphaPolis website. The success of this serialization led to a print publication, with the first volume of the light novel released by AlphaPolis under their &arche Novels b imprint in November 2022, featuring illustrations by Kazuaki.

As the originator of the intellectual property, Tenma Asahi's work forms the foundation for all subsequent adaptations. The light novel series has seen consistent publication, with six volumes released as of December 2025. The property expanded into a manga adaptation in January 2024, illustrated by Aki Tsujimoto, which has been collected into two tankōbon volumes. Most recently, the series was adapted into a light anime television series, which premiered in January 2026, with the production being the inaugural project for the boys' love label Balloon.

The recurring themes within Tenma Asahi's work, as evidenced by this series, center on isekai and reincarnation narratives combined with boys' love elements. The story follows a protagonist who is reincarnated into the world of his favorite otome game as Alba, a sickly nobleman's son who is destined to die. His primary motivation becomes extending his lifespan to avoid triggering a tragic character arc for his stepbrother, Orsis, who was his favorite character in his previous life. This premise establishes a creative identity focused on themes of defying predetermined fate, devoted admiration, and navigating relationships within a fantasy setting.

In terms of industry significance, Tenma Asahi is recognized as the originating author of a property selected as the first project for the Balloon label, a collaborative venture between IMAGICA Infos, Dai Nippon Printing, CYBIRD, and Blue Rights focused on producing boys' love content. This positions Asahi's work as a foundational title for a new production initiative within the niche genre. The available information confirms Tenma Asahi's role strictly as a writer and creator, with no indication of involvement as a voice actor or in other production capacities for the series adaptations.
