Kensuke Satou is a Japanese voice actor from Nagasaki Prefecture, born on May 14. He is affiliated with the talent agency AKSENT, having moved there in December 2012 after previously being with Office PAC. He made his debut as a voice actor in 2006.

Satou's voice is characterized as husky, and he is known for his vocal range, which allows him to portray a wide variety of male characters, from young boys to mature adults and the elderly. He is also recognized for his ability to voice many non-human characters and creatures.

His career includes a significant number of roles in long-running and popular anime franchises. He is particularly well-known for his extensive work in the Pokémon anime series, where he has voiced numerous characters and Pokémon since 2011, including the train conductor Nobori, the gym leader Limone, Citron's Rentorar, and Iris's Dragonite. He has also been a recurring presence in the Inazuma Eleven series, most notably as the character Taichi Mikado (Sangoku Taichi) across multiple installments starting in 2011. Another franchise where he has contributed many voices is Yo-kai Watch.

In the early 2010s, he voiced Taisuke Otsubo, the captain of Shutoku High School's basketball team, in the popular series Kuroko's Basketball. He also played Nikolai Avdotor in both seasons of Chaika - The Coffin Princess, and Kibito in the 2016 OVA for Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. In the mecha genre, he voiced Shin Yamana in Danbōru Senki Wars (also known as LBX Wars). His filmography also includes roles in Vinland Saga, Cells at Work! as White Blood Cell 2048, and Moriarty the Patriot.
