Shota Kawakami is a Japanese stage and voice actor born on April 8, 1993, in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the agency Galle Entertainment. Standing 186 centimeters tall with blood type A, his hobbies include music, movies, and taking walks, and he specializes in basketball. Kawakami primarily works as a stage actor but has entered the field of anime voice acting. His most recognized voice role is Takeshi Hari, also known by his street name Ballista, in the mixed-media basketball project Zero Rise. In this series, which is set in an underground street basketball league, he voices the leader of the Blackspot team, a character who uses a skull-adorned chain to disrupt opponents and can no longer appear publicly after a violent incident.
