Daichū Mizushima is a Japanese voice actor and singer born on June 14, 1976, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. He initially began his career under the name Takahiro Mizushima before changing the reading of his stage name to Daichū in 2022 while keeping the same kanji characters. He stands approximately 174 centimeters tall and has blood type A.

Before entering the entertainment industry, Mizushima graduated from the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Youth Technical School, a boarding school for boys, in 1994, making him a former official of the JSDF. He began his voice acting career around the year 2000, initially affiliated with the agency Production Baobab. He left that agency at the end of May 2011 and joined AXL ONE the following month. During his time at AXL ONE, he also became an instructor at the agency's affiliated training school, AXL ZERO, in 2012. After many years with the agency, he departed from AXL ONE on April 1, 2022, and has since continued his career as a freelance voice actor.

Mizushima has portrayed a wide range of characters, often taking on roles as gentle and沉稳的青年男性. His extensive anime filmography includes many notable roles. He is well known for playing Rolo Lamperouge in Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2, Romeo in Romeo x Juliet, Nagasumi Michishio in My Bride is a Mermaid, and Takamatsu in Angel Beats!. He provided the voice for Taichi Yaegashi in Kokoro Connect, Haruki Kitahara in White Album 2, Shingo Uryu in Mashiroiro Symphony, Jojiro Takajo in Charlotte, and Gawain as well as Sherlock Holmes in various Fate series entries. He also played the role of Kotaro Takebayashi in the Assassination Classroom franchise, which includes the film Gekijōban Ansatsu Kyōshitsu Minna no Jikan. Additionally, he voices Natsuhiko Hyuga in the series Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun and its spin-off, After-School Hanako-kun.

Beyond his voice work in television and film, Mizushima has been active in video games, voicing characters such as Hubert Ozwell in Tales of Graces, Thinker in Sword Art Online, and X (as a cyber-elf) in the Mega Man Zero series. He launched a music career in 2014 under the artist name TAKA, releasing his first mini-album, Reflection, in March of that year.
