Jerry Velázquez, born Gerardo de Jesús Velázquez Molina on March 30, 1990, in Mérida, Yucatán, is a Mexican actor, voice artist, and musician with a career spanning over fifteen years. He began his professional journey after participating in the talent competition High School Musical: La Selección in 2007, which led to a role in the subsequent concert tour and film High School Musical: El Desafío. His background includes extensive work in musical theater, with credits in productions such as Hairspray, Rent, Los Locos Addams, Vaselina, and Mentidrags.

In the field of anime voice acting, Velázquez is recognized for the role of Tsuyoshi Yoshikawa in the anthology series Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre. His other notable voice credits in anime include Barry Khan in Dragon Ball Super, Virgil in Pokémon: Negro y Blanco: Aventuras en Unova, and Benten in Naruto Shippuden. Beyond character work, he has also performed theme songs for several anime franchises, including the opening themes for multiple seasons of Pokémon since the fourteenth season, as well as for series like Los Caballeros del Zodiaco: El lienzo perdido and Los Caballeros del Zodiaco Omega.

Velázquez has a significant presence in Latin American Spanish dubbing for animated films and series. He provided the voice of the title character in the 2019 live-action film Aladdin. His extensive animation voice roles include Tylor Tuskmon in Monsters at Work, Wirt in Over the Garden Wall, Arlo Beauregard in Arlo, el chico caimán, and Logan ‘Logs’ Nguyen in Dead End: El parque del terror. He is also set to voice the character Gary the snake in the 2026 film Zootopia 2. His work for Disney also includes performing songs and chorus vocals for numerous projects, such as Phineas and Ferb, Wish, and Frozen.

Outside of voice acting, his television work includes being a cast member on the comedy show Me Caigo de Risa and appearing in series like Las Bravas FC, Y llegaron de noche, and Backdoor. For his work in theater, he has received two Premios Metropolitanos de Teatro, winning Best Supporting Actor in a Musical for Casi Normales in 2019 and Best Actor in a Play for the improvisational show Desde Cero in 2023. He is openly gay and has spoken publicly about representation and diversity within the entertainment industry.
