Anika Noni Rose is an American actress and singer with a substantial body of voice work in animation, including several notable roles in the anime and anime-influenced genres. She is perhaps most widely recognized for originating the voice of Tiana, Disney's first African American princess, in the 2009 animated feature The Princess and the Frog, a role she has reprised in various projects including the short film Once Upon a Studio and video games such as Disney Dreamlight Valley. In the realm of anime, Rose is known for her performance as Eureka in Star Wars: Visions Volume 2. This anthology series, produced by various prominent Japanese animation studios, features her in the episode The Pit, which was released on May 4, 2023.
