Syuya Sunagawa is a Japanese actor and voice performer best known for his portrayal of Horobi in the Kamen Rider Zero-One metaseries, which also marked his television drama debut. Born on November 17, 1994, he began acting at an early age in his hometown of Okinawa. His career gained momentum when he won the Avex Boys Award in 2016, after which he moved to Tokyo and became affiliated with the Avex Group's entertainment agency. He has expressed that he was considering retiring from acting if he did not secure a role in Kamen Rider Zero-One, and his brother encouraged him to audition for a villain role, noting his intimidating stare.

Sunagawa's signature role is Horobi, a villainous Humagear and the commander of the terrorist network MetsubouJinrai.net in Kamen Rider Zero-One. He portrayed the character across the series from 2019 to 2020, as well as in several films including Kamen Rider: Reiwa The First Generation, Kamen Rider Zero-One: REAL×TIME, and the Zero-One Others direct-to-video films. He reprised the role in Kamen Rider Outsiders in 2023. Regarding his voice acting work, he provided the voice for Horobi in the Kamen Rider Zero-One Short Anime: Everyone's Daily Life, a series of animated shorts released in 2020. In an interview, he discussed the challenge of portraying Horobi as a character who represented a form of justice for his own kind, distinct from the human protagonist, and noted that he learned to convey greater emotion through the role as the series progressed.

Beyond his work in Kamen Rider, Sunagawa has taken on other acting roles. He portrayed Shou Himuro in the Road59 multimedia project and has appeared in stage productions including Instinct Burst sweet pool in 2022 and Bloody+Mary in 2024. His other television credits include the live-action series Blue Sky Complex and Absolute BL. In discussing his career aspirations, he has expressed interest in taking on a more relaxed role in the future, contrasting with his intense villainous performance as Horobi.
