Shirō Tsubuyaki

Description
Shirō Tsubuyaki is a Japanese entertainer primarily known as a comedian who has also built a substantial body of work as a voice actor in anime and other media. He was born Tsutomu Nagatsuka on March 10, 1971, in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, and is affiliated with the talent agency Horipro. His stage name and comedic style, which often involves muttering observations in his native Tochigi dialect, are partly inspired by the magician Shirō Magi. One of his most prominent and recurring voice roles is that of Nanayama, the assistant director, in the comedic CG short-form series Wacky TV Nanana. He voiced this character across all three installments of the franchise: the first season in 2018, Wacky TV Nanana 2nd season in 2019, and Wacky TV Nanana Chase the Kraken Monster! in 2020. Beyond the Wacky TV Nanana franchise, Tsubuyaki has voiced a variety of other characters. He is credited with the role of Wellie or Welly in the anime adaptation of the game Slap Up Party: Arad Senki. In the online anime Yakiniku-ten Sengoku, he provided the voice for a character listed as Taberareta Ushi no Bōrei-chan, which translates to "the ghost of a cow that was eaten." His other anime roles include playing the character Snowman in the 2013 series Blood Lad, Seminga in Tentai Senshi Sunred, a demon in the Doraemon film Nobita's New Great Adventure into the Underworld, and the role of Nobuo Sekine in the series Cat Eyed Boy.
