Mara Junot is a voice actor known for a versatile vocal range that spans anime, video games, and Western animation. They identify as non-binary and accept both she/her and they/them pronouns.

Junot’s path to voice acting began in radio. Working a corporate job they disliked in Houma, Louisiana, Junot successfully auditioned to become a radio DJ, eventually hosting shows on country, classic rock, and soft rock stations. After approximately seven or eight years, feeling that they had stopped growing artistically and facing management changes, Junot decided to leave radio to pursue voice acting full time. They dedicated themselves to studying voice over, sometimes spending sixteen to eighteen hours a day researching the craft. Junot initially built a career working remotely from Louisiana and later Colorado. After booking a role in the hit animated series Arcane, they made the decision to move to Los Angeles to further advance their career.

In the realm of anime, Junot has brought several characters to life in English dubs. They voice Elea the Red Tag in the series Ishura. Junot also portrays Helena in the anime adaptation of Pluto. In the Pokémon franchise, they voice Orla, the chief engineer of the airship Brave Olivine, in Pokémon Horizons: The Series. Their film work includes the role of Princia Funnybunny in Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King.

Beyond these credits specific to Japanese animation, Junot’s broader voice acting career includes roles such as Shoola in Arcane, Lisa in Genshin Impact, Storm in Marvel Rivals, Ikora Rey in Destiny 2, Sindel in Mortal Kombat 11 and Mortal Kombat 1, and Evelynn in League of Legends. They have also appeared in animated series like Curious George, Boss Baby: Back in the Crib, and Blaze and the Monster Machines.
