Jean-Baptiste Marcenac is a French actor and voice actor. His career in the performing arts began after he completed specialized drama studies at the École nationale supérieure des arts et techniques du théâtre in Paris from 1991 to 1994. In addition to his work in animation, he has appeared in live-action French films, including a significant role in The Apprentices directed by Pierre Salvadori, and has provided voice work for film dubbing, such as for the character Ginley in Archer and for the French version of Kung Fu Panda 2.

Within the field of anime voice acting, Marcenac is primarily recognized for his contributions to French-language dubbing productions. One of his notable roles is as RO in the series Tokyo Underground, a 2002 action-adventure series from Studio Pierrot. He is also known for providing the voice of the Narrator in Master Keaton, the 1998 to 1999 anime adaptation of the manga by Naoki Urasawa. His work often includes providing off-screen narration or voice-off roles, as seen in series such as Gate Keepers, Gate Keepers 21, and Gokusen, as well as for the narrator in Master Keaton. His other anime roles include voicing a weather report voice in the film Wolf Children.

In the realm of Western animation and film franchises, Marcenac contributed additional voices for the French dubs of Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Transformers: The Last Knight. He also worked as a voice actor for the video game adaptation Resident Evil: Damnation.
