Anna Sawai
Description
Anna Sawai is a Japanese actress and former singer who has also worked as a voice actor in anime and video game projects. Born in New Zealand and raised in Japan from the age of ten, she is bilingual in Japanese and English. She began her career as a child actor, performing the title role in a Tokyo stage production of Annie in 2004 before making her feature film debut in the 2009 martial arts film Ninja Assassin. From 2013 to 2018, she was a lead vocalist for the J-pop group Faky, after which she departed to focus full-time on acting.
Sawai has taken on several notable voice acting roles. In 2017, she provided the voice of Angélique Noir in the fashion simulation video game Style Savvy: Styling Star for its North American and PAL versions. In 2025, she joined the cast of Star Wars: Visions Volume 3, the anime anthology series on Disney+.
