David Itō

David Itō is a Japanese actor and voice actor whose real name is Tsutomu Itō. He was born on August 12, 1966, in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Beyond his work in entertainment, he is also known to be an entrepreneur and businessman.

Itō began his career in the entertainment industry in the mid-1990s. His acting work has largely been in live-action television dramas, known as dorama, and films. He has appeared in a wide range of Japanese television series from the late 1990s through the 2010s, including roles in series such as Great Teacher Onizuka, Trick 3, Dragon Zakura, and the live-action adaptations of Hana Yori Dango and its sequel, Hana Yori Dango Returns.

As a voice actor, David Itō is best known for his role in the Fist of the North Star franchise. He provided the Japanese voice for the character Jagi in the 2007 original video animation (OVA) film Fist of the North Star: The Legend of Yuria. This OVA is the second part of a five-part movie series titled Legends of the True Savior, which presents the story from the character Yuria's perspective. In this production, Itō voiced the antagonistic role of Jagi, one of the four adoptive brothers of the protagonist, Kenshiro. The film featured a prominent cast, including Hiroshi Abe as Kenshiro and Yuriko Ishida as Yuria.
