Born on March 31, 1950 in Nagoya, Japan, Tachi has had a long and distinguished career in the entertainment industry since his debut in the 1976 film The Classroom of Terror.

While Tachi is best known for his extensive live-action work, including iconic television dramas like Seibu Keisatsu and Abunai Deka, his entry into voice acting brought a unique presence to the anime world.
