Yūta Yamazaki is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on March 8, 1981 in Yuzawa City, Akita Prefecture. He was raised in Tokyo and graduated from Horikoshi High School. His real name is Yūta Akiyama, and he is affiliated with the talent agency HoriPro. He stands 168 cm tall.

Yamazaki began his career in entertainment as a child fashion model and actor, appearing in productions such as the film Rex: A Dinosaur's Story. His voice acting work dates back to the early 1990s, and while his filmography includes several notable anime roles, his career has been more extensively defined by his live-action performances in television dramas and films.

One of his earliest voice roles was providing the voice of Yōsuke Obata in the 1993 anime film Coo: Tōi Umi kara Kita Coo. Two years later, he voiced the character Hiroshi in the 1995 film Junkers Come Here. He also contributed voice work to a 1994 television anime series titled Sumo Gami.

In 2005, Yamazaki voiced the character Ryoga Echizen in the film The Prince of Tennis: Two Samurai, The First Game. Several years later, he participated in the 2009 Japanese-Chinese co-produced animated series Romance of the Three Kingdoms, providing the Japanese voice for the character Zhang Fei.

In live-action, Yamazaki is recognized for his role as Masaru Watanabe in the 1998 television drama series Great Teacher Onizuka. He also played the lead character Norimichi Shimada in Shunji Iwai's 1995 film Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom?. His acting work has continued steadily into the 2010s, with appearances in dramas such as Gou (2011), Reverse (2017), and Unfortunate Detective (2019).

Yamazaki received the Golden Arrow Award for Best New Actor in Theatre for his work in the stage production Great Edo Rocket in 2001.
