Munetaka Aoki is a Japanese actor born on March 14, 1980, in Osaka, Japan. He began his career in 2002, and while he is primarily known for his extensive work in live-action film and television, he has also performed several notable voice roles in anime productions, particularly in feature films.

In live-action cinema, Aoki is widely recognized for his portrayal of the character Sanosuke Sagara, which he played across multiple installments of the Rurouni Kenshin film series, including the 2012 original, the two-part sequel Kyoto Inferno and The Legend Ends in 2014, and the 2021 film The Final. Another prominent live-action role was as engineer Sosaku Tachibana in the 2023 film Godzilla Minus One.

Aoki's voice acting work includes several significant anime film roles. He provided the voice for Tetsuya in the 2024 animated feature Ghost Cat Anzu, an international co-production in which he played the father of the young protagonist. He also voiced the character Kotetsu in the 2010 live-action and animated hybrid film Time Traveller: The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. In Mamoru Hosoda's 2025 anime film Scarlet, produced by Studio Chizu, Aoki is cast as Rosencrantz, a vassal of the main antagonist who targets the title character.

His other voice credits include the role of Isaac Gardner in the 2023 anime television series The Legendary Hero Is Dead. Aoki also appeared in Battle Royale II: Requiem in the role of Jun Nanami.
