Huwie Ishizaki

Description
Huwie Ishizaki is a Japanese singer-songwriter and actor born on March 7, 1984, in Mito, Ibaraki. While primarily a musician, his on-screen work has been in live-action television and film rather than as a dedicated anime voice actor.

Ishizaki began his career as the vocalist for the band Astrocoast before embarking on a solo music career in 2012. He has released several full-length albums and singles, and has written songs for other notable artists. His contributions to anime have largely been through theme songs. He performed "Pino to Amélie" as an ending theme for Naruto: Shippuden, "Parade" as the second ending theme for Case File nº221: Kabukicho, "Wasuregataki" as the opening theme for Dr. Stone: New World, and wrote "Ai Kotoba" for Aina the End, which served as an ending theme for The Apothecary Diaries.

As an actor, Ishizaki has appeared in several live-action film and television dramas. He had his first regular acting role in the TV drama series Hidarikiki no Eren as Kamiya Yusuke. He also appeared in the drama Japanese Style as Ringorou Asatsuki. Though he is not a voice actor for animated series, he is known for his live-action portrayal of Higashiyama in the Ya Boy Kongming! franchise. He first played this role in a guest appearance in episode nine of the live-action television series Ya Boy Kongming! in 2023. He later reprised the role of Higashiyama for the 2025 live-action film Ya Boy Kongming! the Movie.

Outside of these credits, there is no significant information available about Huwie Ishizaki performing as a voice actor in anime. His involvement in the Ya Boy Kongming! project is as a live-action performer.
