Tōru Nakamura

Toru Nakamura is a Japanese actor born on September 5, 1965, in Ota Ward, Tokyo, Japan. His real name is also Tōru Nakamura, written with different kanji characters. He is affiliated with the talent agency Kitto.

Nakamura's career began in the mid-1980s, and he is widely recognized for his work in live-action film and television. One of his earliest and most notable roles was playing Tōru Nakama in the Be-Bop Highschool series, a franchise of live-action films based on a popular manga. This role helped establish him as a prominent actor during that decade. He also performed vocal music for several soundtracks related to the Be-Bop Highschool franchise under the names Tall Nakamura and TALL.

In addition to his live-action work, Nakamura has contributed to anime and other voice acting projects. He is credited as the Narrator for the anime television series The Snow Queen, which aired from 2005 to 2006. In this series, he also voiced the character Ragi the Bard.

His other voice roles include the character Dr. Takahito Taneda in the live-action film adaptation of the manga Boku no Hatsukoi o Kimi ni Sasagu. He also played the role of Takeshi Hongō's Father in the 2023 film Shin Kamen Rider.
