Show Aikawa is a Japanese actor born on May 24, 1961, in Tokushima Prefecture, though he was raised in Kagoshima Prefecture. He stands 178 centimeters tall and has blood type AB. His career began in the mid-1980s, and he has since become a prominent figure in Japanese cinema, with a filmography that spans V-cinema productions to major studio releases. While primarily known for his work as a live-action actor, he has occasionally performed voice roles for animated projects.

Aikawa has collaborated extensively with renowned directors such as Takashi Miike and Kiyoshi Kurosawa. His work with Miike includes notable films like Zebraman (2004), Dead or Alive (1999), and its sequels. His collaboration with Kurosawa includes films such as Serpent's Path (1997), Eyes of the Spider (1997), and Pulse (2001). For his lead performance in Zebraman, Aikawa received a nomination for Best Actor at the Japan Academy Prize in 2005.

Regarding anime voice work, Show Aikawa portrayed the character Mr. X in the 2013 live-action film adaptation of the classic manga and anime series Tiger Mask. In this film, he played the mysterious antagonist opposite Eiji Wentz as the titular hero, Naoto Date. His other film roles that touch on properties associated with anime and manga adaptations include the live-action film of Silver Spoon, where he played Aki's uncle, also known as Makoto or Aki's Uncle in some sources.
