Laurent Maurel is a French actor and voice artist who has provided French dubbing voices for numerous anime and animated productions. His birth date is May 5, 1972, and he was born in Martigues, Bouches-du-Rhone, France. Maurel grew up in various locations including Tahiti, Morocco, Djibouti, and Reunion Island before pursuing formal acting training at the National Drama School of ENSATT in Paris and Middlesex University in London. In addition to French, he performs professionally in English and Spanish.
Within the animation and anime dubbing field, Maurel has taken on several notable roles. In the popular series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, he provides the French voice for Yoriichi Tsugikuni, a legendary demon slayer from the past who appears during the Swordsmith Village Arc.
