Chris Winston is the professional alias of Thomas Wayland, a voice actor, ADR director, and scriptwriter born July 21, 1974, who has been active in the English-language dubbing industry since the late 1990s. Winston founded TripWire Productions in 2004.

In the example role cited, Chris Winston voices the character Yamamoto in the English dub of the 1997 live-action film Zero Woman: The Hunted. His voice acting portfolio includes a wide range of anime and video game characters. He is known for portraying Kakimaro Someya in DNA² and Nonki Hayami in Animation Runner Kuromi 2. In the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003 series, he voiced Jammerhead. Within the Pokémon franchise, Winston has voiced several characters, including the Legendary Pokémon Arceus in various media, as well as Charmander, Gible, Dwebble, and Golurk. His production credits span a significant catalog of anime, including roles as Associate Producer and Dubbing Supervisor for series such as Revolutionary Girl Utena, Patlabor, Now and Then, Here and There, and Armored Trooper Votoms. He also held ADR Director and Script Adaptation roles for titles like Ichi the Killer: Episode Zero, Joe vs. Joe, and Kakurenbo: Hide & Seek.
