Matthew Jay is an American actor known primarily for his work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime and live-action films, as well as for numerous roles in television and video games. He is frequently credited under variations of his name, including Matt Jayson and Matthew Jayson Cwern.

Born on December 27, 1980, in Great Neck, New York, Matthew Jay began his voice acting career in the late 1990s. His first known voice role in an anime production came in 1997, when he voiced the character Muto in the English dub of the Japanese V-Cinema film Zero Woman: The Accused. This film, an erotic thriller, is the fourth installment in the Zero Woman series, and its English dub was produced by Central Park Media.

Beyond this early work, Matthew Jay has built an extensive career across both voice acting and on-screen performances. His filmography includes a major voice role in the video game The Elder Scrolls Online (2014), where he provided voices for the characters Sotha Sil, Male Orcs, and Male Argonians. He also contributed voice work to the video game Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood (2021).
