Tara Hetharia is a Dutch actress and voice actress born in Hilversum on September 29, 1995. Her career in performance began at a young age, with early roles in musical productions such as The Lion King, where she played young Nala, and Les Misérables, as young Cosette. She also participated in Kinderen voor Kinderen in 2005. Hetharia pursued formal training at the Toneelacademie Maastricht, graduating in 2021, and has since built a career spanning theatre, film, and television.

As a voice actress, Hetharia has lent her voice to a wide array of characters in Dutch-dubbed versions of international films and television series, a field she has been active in since the age of ten. She is known for providing the Dutch voice of Serena in the Pokémon anime series and its associated films, including Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction, Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, and Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel. Her voice work extends to numerous other prominent roles, such as Katie Knight in Big Time Rush, Riley in Girl Meets World, and Chyna in A.N.T. Farm. She has also voiced characters in major animated feature films, including the role of Vontra in The Wild Robot, Loto in Vaiana 2, Molly in Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, and Tijgerlelie in Peter Pan & Wendy.

In addition to her extensive dubbing work, Hetharia has appeared in live-action roles, most notably as Wieteke van Vrijberghe in the long-running Dutch youth series SpangaS from 2015 to 2018. Her recent projects include a leading role in the Telefilm Met oprechte deelneming and a dual role as contract workers Karminah and Saïma in the theatre production Gelukzoekers op Sumatra. Hetharia continues to be active in both live-action and voice acting, contributing to Dutch-language versions of major international releases.
