Kei Kurita

Kei Kurita is a male Japanese voice actor and narrator from Tokyo, born on November 1, 1970. He is affiliated with the talent agency Crazy Box.

Kurita began his voice acting career after graduating from the Japanese Narration Acting Institute. He was a student of voice actor Daisuke Maki starting in 1995 and was a member of Maki's theatrical troupe, Katari-Za. From 1997 to August 2004, Kurita was affiliated with Sigma Seven.

His debut anime role was as a technician and a young soldier in the series Turn A Gundam in 1999. Throughout the 2000s and 2010s, he built a career through numerous supporting and guest roles. His anime credits include a page boy in Inuyasha, a staff member in Full Metal Panic, a man in sunglasses in Fullmetal Alchemist, a manga artist in Sgt. Frog, a guest in Samurai Champloo, and a crew member in Fafner in the Azure. He also portrayed Captain Sid in the Stargate dub and had a role in the Japanese dub of the live-action film Sonic the Hedgehog as the Navy Chief of Staff.

In later years, Kurita played the character Gez in Gundam Reconguista in G, a man from an organization in Occultic;Nine, a false father in Carole & Tuesday, and James Davies in Märchen Mädchen. More recent anime work includes roles in the 2023 series Helck as a resident and elder, and in the web anime Onimusha as a phantom demon. Beyond animation, his voice can be heard in numerous foreign film dubs for television and streaming platforms, as well as in promotional narrations for Japanese programs such as SMAPxSMAP.

Among his recurring character roles, Kurita voiced the character Joly in the 2003 series时空冒险记ZENTRIX, Kusanagi in Dear Boys, and provided the voice of the grandfather in the series My Three Sisters. His personal interests include audio equipment, and he has listed Chinese martial arts as a special skill.
