Jon Bailey is an American voice actor born on March 3, 1979 in Memphis, Tennessee. He is widely recognized as the Epic Voice Guy for the Screen Junkies series Honest Trailers, a role that became a turning point in his career and helped him focus exclusively on voice acting. He is also a well-known figure in the Transformers franchise, both as a longtime fan and as a voice actor who has frequently stepped in to voice Optimus Prime when primary actor Peter Cullen is unavailable.

Bailey’s career spans animated series, video games, and film. In the realm of anime, he provides the English dub voice for the character Tsutomu Isaki in the series The Fable. Outside of anime, he is known for his work in the Transformers universe, including the film Bumblebee, where he voiced the Decepticon characters Shockwave and Soundwave. He also voiced Soundwave in the later film Transformers One. His other notable voice roles in the franchise include Optimus Prime in Transformers: Combiner Wars and the character Anakin Skywalker in the Transformers: Crossovers toyline.

Bailey has a long history with Hasbro as a go-to voice for Optimus Prime and has contributed to numerous video games, including XCOM 2 as the Council Spokesman, as well as Dishonored 2, Halo Wars 2, and Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.
