Born in Madrid in 1979, she originally studied geography before shifting her focus to the performing arts. Beyond anime, Cifuentes has had a significant career in voice-over and dubbing for various media. Since 2011, she has been the official corporate voice of the Spanish television channel Divinity, and later extended her role to include all Mediaset España channels, including Telecinco and Cuatro.
