Juri Ueno

Description
Juri Ueno is primarily known as a Japanese actress rather than a dedicated anime voice actor, having risen to fame for her work in live-action films and television dramas. She was born on May 25, 1986 in Kakogawa, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Ueno first gained recognition for her role in the 2004 film Swing Girls, for which she received a Newcomer of the Year prize at the Japanese Academy Awards. She achieved mainstream success for playing the titular role of Megumi "Nodame" Noda in the live-action television and film adaptations of the Nodame Cantabile series.

While Ueno has had a prolific career as an on-screen actress, her work as a voice performer for anime and animated works is limited. In 2004, she provided the voice of Stella in the project The Last Concert. In 2007, she voiced the character of Little Red Riding Hood in Kuso Little Red Riding Hood. Her other known voice credit includes providing narration for the 2008 film Wanko the Movie 2. Ueno also played the role of Fumio Shijo in the 2006 film Arch Angels. She is managed by the Amuse talent agency.
