Nerida Bronwen
Description
Nerida Bronwen is an Australian actor and voice over artist who works in both live-action and voice production. She holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts in Theatre and has trained extensively with a number of respected coaches in the United States and Australia, including Larry Moss, Elizabeth Kemp, and at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio. Her early career included roles in numerous short films, the award-winning film Lowering Awareness, and appearances on Australian television series such as Deadly Women. She also worked as an extra on larger productions, including Mad Max Fury Road, before relocating to Los Angeles in 2017. In 2021, she co-founded the production company 579 Productions.
As a voice actor, her most notable anime role is Richeh in the English dub of the high-fantasy series Witch Hat Atelier, which began streaming in April 2026. In this production, she is part of an ensemble cast that includes Anjali Kunapaneni, Joshua Waters, Madeleine Morris, and Sarah Wiedenheft. She also provided the voice of the fashion designer Sashay in the Netflix animated feature LOL Surprise Winter Fashion Show. Beyond animation, she has performed as a voice actor for podcasts and has worked as a music video director for electronic music artists.
While Witch Hat Atelier represents one of her first publicly documented forays into anime dubbing, her broader entertainment career includes writing, producing, and directing across film, digital media, and theatre. Her professional training has focused on a variety of acting techniques, ranging from the Chubbuck Technique to methods derived from Stanislavski, as well as extensive work in dialects and improvisation.
