Lee Quick
Description
Lee Quick is an American voice actor known for work in English-language dubs of anime series, most prominently during the late 1990s and early 2000s. She is also known professionally under the names Heather Quick, Heather Lee, and Anne Crosby. Quick began her journey in performance early in life; her father was a former disc jockey, and she went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre, Radio, TV, and Film from Texas Christian University. After graduation, she moved to New York City, where she worked on off-Broadway productions before moving into voice-over work.
She is best known as the original voice of Officer Jenny in the English dub of the Pokémon anime, a role she played for the first seven seasons of the television series and in several associated films, including Pokémon: The First Movie and Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys. Her tenure as Officer Jenny spanned the era when the series was dubbed by 4Kids Entertainment. Quick has discussed the recording process for early Pokémon episodes, noting that scripts were sometimes faxed in while actors were in the booth and that ad-libbing was occasionally necessary due to translation issues.
Beyond her iconic work in Pokémon, Quick was affiliated with Central Park Media, for whom she provided voices on several projects under her various pseudonyms. Her anime voice-over credits from this period include major roles in the OVA series Here Is Greenwood, where she voiced Shun Kisaragi, the Dorm Lady, and Misako. Under the name Heather Lee, she voiced the twin protagonists Ai and Mai Amatsu in the Twin Angels OVA series. Quick has also been credited with roles in the series La Blue Girl.
In a later career development, Quick returned to anime voice acting to play the role of Waldelia in the 2024 series No Longer Allowed In Another World. She has indicated that she is working on a podcast project planned for release later in 2026.
