Toshimitsu Oda is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on April 23, 1979, in Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. He is 180 cm tall and has blood type O. Oda is a graduate of the Amusement Media Comprehensive Academy in Osaka, where he was part of the first intake of the voice actor and entertainer department. He also completed studies at the B.A.O. Media Lecture and the Voice Actor Department of the Image Technical College.
His career began in the early 2000s. He was previously affiliated with the talent agency Production Baobab and the theater troupe Gekidan Sugoroku, but later worked as a freelancer before joining AZ Creative Agent Office.
Oda has built a career through numerous supporting and recurring roles in long-running anime series. He is known for voicing characters in the franchise Ninja Warriors, such as Kumojin Hyōsuke, Mankiri, and Heita Nakamu. He has also had a long association with the Detective Conan anime, voicing various police officers, detectives, and other incidental characters across many episodes and an OVA. Similarly, he has provided voices for numerous minor characters in Crayon Shin-chan, We This Family, and Nodame Cantabile.
In the 2015 television anime Dayan to Tama to Tobi Neko to: Mittsu no Neko no Monogatari, Oda voiced the character Iwan. He reprised this role for the 2019 theatrical film adaptation, Dayan to Jitan. Another prominent role was as Jen Stells in the 2017 fantasy picture story Shadow of Laffandor. Oda has also lent his voice to characters in video games, including the role of the protagonist's voice option in Tokyo After School Summoners, and characters in games like Eat Your Sins, Genmakyou no Tabibito, and Raishi.
Beyond anime and games, Oda's work includes dubbing foreign films and television dramas. Notable dubbing roles include Mike in the film Truth or Dare and Daniel in That Awkward Moment.
