Mathias Rapisarda

Description
Mathias Rapisarda is a stage and voice actor originally from Italy who is based in Argentina, where he also works as a music director and adapter. Born in Bologna, Italy, in 1984, he moved with his family to Ramos Mejía in the La Matanza partido of Greater Buenos Aires in 1992 at the age of seven.

In the field of anime voice acting, Rapisarda has taken on several supporting roles in Spanish-language dubs for the Latin American market. He provides the voice for Shirou Shiramine in the series Tsugumomo and for Shouji Satou in Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, also known as Food Wars! The Second Plate. His additional anime credits include the role of Beets in Dragon Ball Super: Broly as well as Sayou and Genri in Beyblade X.

Beyond specific anime titles, Rapisarda has built a substantial career in the broader voice acting industry. For six years, he served as the institutional voice of the Disney XD channel for all of Latin America, a role he achieved through a highly selective casting process. This position made his voice a familiar presence to a generation of young viewers across the region. His voice work also extends to animated series such as Star vs. The Forces of Evil, The Owl House, The Mist, and Robocar Poli, in which he plays the main role of Helly the Robocopter.

In addition to performing, Rapisarda works as a director and adapter within the dubbing industry. He has served as a voice director and musical coach for stage productions, including the Latin American version of the children's show Cocomelon. His approach to voice acting emphasizes interpretation over merely having a pleasant vocal quality, drawing on his extensive training in acting and music. He is also a published author, having written the book Quinta esencia, which features a prologue by Argentine writer Eduardo Sacheri.
