Shirin Lotze
Description
Shirin Lotze is a German voice actress and screen actress who has worked extensively in anime dubbing, as well as in live-action dubbing, documentaries, and commercial voiceovers. Born in Teheran, Iran in 1973, she moved to Munich, Germany at the age of four. After completing her Abitur, she attended acting school and gained experience in theater before transitioning into voice work.
In the field of anime, Lotze is perhaps best known for her role as Atarus Mutter (Ataru's mother) in the 2022 remake of the classic romantic comedy series Urusei Yatsura. This production was directed by Grischa Olbrich at Tonwerk München studio. Her other significant anime voice roles include Loly Aiverne in Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, Yuzuki Hanyuu in World's End Harem, a Gehirnzellen-Assistentin (brain cell assistant) in Cells at Work! Code Black, Ehefrau #1 (Wife #1) in Bibliophile Princess, and additional voices in Carole & Tuesday and Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World. She also lent her voice to the character Shuichis Mutter in the horror anime Uzumaki. Her work in the One Piece franchise includes the role of Ran, as well as Koala in One Piece Film: Gold.
