Massimo Lopez is an Italian actor and voice actor born on 11 January 1952 in Ascoli Piceno, Italy. He began his career on stage in 1975 and entered the world of voice acting in 1980. While he is widely recognized in Italy for his work as a comedian and television presenter, particularly as a member of the renowned comic group Il Trio alongside Anna Marchesini and Tullio Solenghi, he has also built an extensive and prolific career in dubbing. He is the younger brother of the late voice actor Giorgio Lopez.

Lopez is a prominent figure in the Italian dubbing industry, providing the Italian voice for a vast array of characters in both live-action and animated films and television series. He is notably the current Italian voice of Homer Simpson in the long-running animated series The Simpsons, a role he has held since 2013 following the death of the character's previous voice actor. In the realm of animation, his other major roles include Grand Pabbie in Disney's Frozen and its sequel Frozen II, Ramon in Happy Feet and Happy Feet Two, Mr. Peabody in Mr. Peabody & Sherman, and Mayor Leodore Lionheart in Zootopia.
