Julia Mainusch is a German voice actor known for her work in dubbing animated series and films, particularly anime productions for the German-language market. Her professional background is rooted in formal training in speech arts and vocal pedagogy; she studied Sprechkunst und Sprecherziehung (Speech Art and Speech Education) at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst, supported by scholarships including the Deutschlandstipendium. She has further developed her craft through workshops in techniques such as the Linklater method and the Meisner technique. Before focusing on voice work, Mainusch was an ensemble member of the Papageno Musiktheater in Frankfurt am Main from 2014 to 2018. Since 2018, she has worked as a freelance dubbing and voice actor for various media, including films, television series, video games, and audio dramas.

In the realm of anime, Mainusch has contributed to several prominent series. She provided the first voice for Mei Hamano in the romantic comedy series More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers. Her other notable anime roles include voicing Chikuchi Togeike in the long-running superhero series My Hero Academia and Nanami Yabu in Classroom of the Elite, for which she took over the role in the second season. In theatrical anime, she voiced the character Calca Bessarez in the film Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom.
